Boswell


BOSWELL, pop 547, is a LOGGING and resort community on the east shore of KOOTENAY LK, 43 km northwest of CRESTON. It was formerly a steamship landing and fruit-growing area. Gov Gen Earl Grey bought land here for his son Lord Howick in 1906 and named it the Boswell Ranch after the surveyor he had employed for the property transfer.
