Baynes Sound


BAYNES SOUND separates the east coast of VANCOUVER ISLAND from DENMAN ISLAND, extending 40 km south from COMOX to DEEP BAY. The waters of the sound are rich with crustaceans and other sea life that attract a large number of seabirds, several species of which stay for the winter months.
