BANTOCK, Nick, writer, artist (b 14 July 1949, Stourbridge, England). Raised in London, he attended the Art College of Maidstone in Kent. He immigrated with his wife and family to BC in 1987 and settled on BOWEN ISLAND, where he began designing and writing elaborate pop-up books and teaching at the EMILY CARR INSTITUTE.
