Babicki, Boguslaw Blasej

BABICKI, Boguslaw Blasej, "Bogue", structural engineer (b 2 Feb 1924, Otwock, Poland). During Nazi occupation of Poland he joined the resistance and fought in the Warsaw Uprising of 1944, later studying engineering at Warsaw University of Technology. In 1958 he settled in Vancouver with his wife and worked for Read Jones Christoffersen. In 1962 he founded Bogue Babicki Associates, which was soon engineering sections of Simon Fraser University, in collaboration with Erickson/Massey Architects....
