BC CONSERVATION OFFICER SERVICE (BCCOS) is the enforcement arm of the provincial Ministry of Water, Land and Air Protection (formerly Environment, Lands and Parks). In addition to enforcing provincial and federal environmental legislation in BC, members of the service are responsible for managing conflicts between humans and wildlife.
