Wilson Inlet


Wilson Inlet (53˚34'00" 129˚53'00" N of Anger I, S entrance to Petrel Channel, W side of Pitt I). According to surveyor Philip Monckton, the inlet was named after a member of the BC Lands Service triangulation party that worked along the W coast of Pitt I in 1921. The group travelled in a small vessel named the Ala and was under the leadership of land surveyor Alfred Wright.
