Wilfred Point


Wilfred Point (50˚08'00" 125˚21'00" W side of Discovery Passage, SW entrance to Seymour Narrows, NW of Campbell R). Named about 1860 by Capt George Richards of the RN survey vessel Plumper after Capt Wilfred Collingwood, brother of Vice Adm Baron Cuthbert Collingwood, cdr of the RN’s Mediterranean fleet in the early 1800s.
