Whitney-Griffiths Point


Whitney-Griffiths Point (48˚23'00" 123˚31'00" W end of Witty’s Lagoon, N end of Parry Bay, Metchosin, W of Victoria). Named in 1972 after the Whitney-Griffiths family, whose members have lived in the area since 1907. The Capital Regional District acquired a 3-ha parcel of land at this site from the family in 1971 and added it to Witty’s Lagoon Regional Park.
