Westminster Point


Westminster Point (52˚04'00" 128˚05'00" W entrance to Cooper Inlet, Lama Passage, N side of Hunter I, SE of Bella Bella). Named in association with nearby Harbourmaster Point and Cooper Inlet (qv) by Lt Daniel Pender in 1866. Capt James Cooper was harbourmaster of the colony of BC, based at New Westminster, from 1860 to 1868.
