Wells Cove


Wells Cove (52˚21'00" 131˚33'00" Just S of Gowgaia Bay, SW side of Moresby I, QCI). Named about 1912 by Capt Absalom Freeman after one of the mates of the Celestial Empire, a steam halibut trawler owned by the Canadian Fishing Co that often operated off the W coast of the QCI.
