Watt Islet


Watt Islet (49˚43'20" 124˚11'00" Blind Bay, S entrance to Jervis Inlet, NW of Vancouver). Motor Mechanic John Arthur Watt of the RCNVR, from Vancouver, died while on active service on Feb 14, 1945, aged 23. He was a member of the 29th Canadian Motor Torpedo Boat Flotilla, which was virtually destroyed during an accidental fire at Ostend harbour, Belgium.
