Washington Rock (52˚07'00" 131˚08'00" SE entrance to Houston Stewart Channel, off S end of Moresby I, QCI). The 90-tonne sloop Lady Washington left Boston in 1787 under the command of Capt Robert Gray and arrived at Nootka Sd one year later, part of the first US fur-trading expedition to the PNW, led by John Kendrick in the Columbia Rediviva.
