Virgalias Cove (53˚42'00" 132˚55'00" Head of Port Louis, W side of Graham I, QCI). Victor Virgalias was a Scandinavian prospector who came to the QCI in 1905 from Alaska, where, among other activities, he had apparently run a successful dance hall. He was hired to stake oil claims at Tian Point, just N of Port Louis, and also to blaze a rough trail from the point to Naden Hbr whaling station, 45 km away.
