Village Channel


Village Channel (50˚37'00" 126˚38'00" S side of Crease I and the Indian Group, W of Village I), Village Island (50˚37'00" 126˚32'00" NW side of Turnour I, S of Gilford I, mouth of Knight Inlet, N of Johnstone Str). Village I is the site of Mamalilaculla (qv), the main winter settlement of the Mamaleleqala-QweqwaSot’Enox people, a branch of the Kwakwaka’wakw First Nation.
