Turner Point


Turner Point (53˚42'00" 132˚58'00" N entrance to Port Louis, W side of Graham I, QCI). Probably named for James Alexander Turner, who was born at Montreal in 1891, graduated from the Royal Military College and studied civil engineering in Toronto. In 1913 he came out to BC and worked for the hydrographic service as a junior hydrographer on the Hecate Str survey.
