Trickey Islands

Trickey Islands (52˚45'00" 129˚18'00" E side of Beauchemin Channel, off NW Aristazabal I). William Trickey (1851–1937), a native of Devon, England, came to Victoria in 1870 and settled in the S Saanich area, where he farmed. In 1878 he married Mary Ann Marwick (1856–1921), who was born and raised in Victoria. William, who was listed as an expressman in the 1892 Victoria directory, is believed to have taken part in the famous Victoria old-timers’ reunion of 1924 (see Adams Bay).
