Tozier Rock


Tozier Rock (48˚37'00" 123˚31'00" W side of Saanich Inlet, NE of McPhail Point, NW of Victoria). Capt Dorr Francis Tozier (1843–1926), from Georgia, who had joined the US Marine Revenue Service while working in Maine, was in command of the revenue cutter Grant when it struck this uncharted rock in 1901.
