Thornbrough Bay


Thornbrough Bay (49˚27'00" 123˚27'00" W side of Gambier I near S end), Thornbrough Channel (49˚29'00" 123˚28'00" W of Gambier I, W side of Howe Sd, NW of Vancouver). The channel was named in 1859 by RN surveyor Capt George Richards after Adm Sir Edward Thornbrough (1754–1834).
