Taylor Point


Taylor Point (48˚46'00" 123˚08'00" W of Bruce Bight, S side of Saturna I, Gulf Is). Scottish stonemason George Grey Taylor (1858–1933) came to Canada with his wife, Annie (b 1864), and family in 1882. Ten years later they moved W to BC and pre-empted land at Potato Bay on Plumper Sd. George soon found work at Warburton Pike’s sandstone quarry, located near what is now Taylor Point.
