Tatsung Rock


Tatsung Rock (52˚33'00" 131˚20'00" SE of Ramsay I, N entrance to Juan Perez Sd, off E side of Moresby I, QCI). The name is an adaptation of the Haida word for hat and was adopted by the hydrographic service in 1962. The spelling is taken from the Haida vocabulary listed in the appendix to George M Dawson’s 1880 monograph “On the Haida Indians of the QCI.”
