Takelley Cove


Takelley Cove (52˚42'00" 131˚41'00" W end of Atli Inlet, Lyell I, off E side of Moresby I, QCI). “Takelley” was the old telegraph code for the Kelley Logging Co, which grew to become one of the largest logging operators in the QCI. Thomas Kelley, a civil engineer from the US, came to the QCI as early as 1908 and worked as a timber cruiser.
