Ta-aack Rock


Ta-aack Rock (51˚00'00" 127˚40'00" SE of the Storm Is, W end of Queen Charlotte Str). The Nak’waxda’xw people of Seymour Inlet, members of the Kwakwaka’wakw First Nation, have two reserves on the precariously situated (but well named) Storm Is that were used as fishing camps. Ta-aack Rk was named by the hydrographic service in 1947 after one of those reserves.
