Susan Rock (52˚17'00" 128˚30'00" In Milbanke Sd, W of Cecilia I, NW of Bella Bella). Named for Susan Frances Pemberton, the sister of Joseph Pemberton, Vancouver I’s first colonial surveyor gen. A native of Ireland, she came out to Victoria about 1855 with her uncle, Augustus Pemberton, and lived with her brother at Gonzales, the large Pemberton estate in SE Victoria.
