Storm Bay


Storm Bay (49˚40'00" 123˚49'00" E side of Sechelt Inlet, S of the mouth of Narrows Inlet, NW of Vancouver). Storm Bay is presumably named for the fact that it provides good shelter for small craft in stormy weather; in fact, it is probably the most protected anchorage in Sechelt Inlet. A Vancouver company, Sechelt Brick & Tile, started a brickworks there in 1907, but the clay was poor and the plant soon closed.
