Stopford Point


Stopford Point (55˚12'00" 130˚05'00" Between Dickens Point and Dent Bluff, E side of Portland Canal, N of Prince Rupert). Lt Robert Wilbraham Stopford (1844–1911) served on the Pacific Station, 1866–69, aboard HMS Zealous, the flagship of the station’s cdr-in-chief, Rear Adm George Hastings.
