Stevenson Cove

Stevenson Cove (52˚34'00" 131˚39'00" W entrance to Darwin Sd, E side of Moresby I, QCI). Stevenson, whose personal name is unrecorded, was a prospector at nearby Lockeport during the short-lived QCI copper-mining frenzy of the early 1900s. With his partner, Sullivan, he staked the Tiger claim near Anna Inlet and operated an open-cut mine there in 1907–8. The feature was named by the hydrographic service in 1962.
