Sneath Islands


Sneath Islands (53˚32'00" 130˚32'00" SE of Solander Point, off NW end of Banks I). George Sneath was a lay preacher and missionary to the Haida, 1879–1882. He had originally been sent from England by the Church Missionary Society to its E African mission, but his health broke down and he was forced to return.
