Sinclair Bank (49˚42'00" 124˚17'00" W of Nelson I, Malaspina Str, SE of Powell R). William Brown “Bertrand” Sinclair (1881–1972) was a writer and fisherman who immigrated to Ont from England with his mother in 1889. Infatuated by cowboy culture, he left home at a young age and travelled to the US, where he eventually married Bertha Bower, also a writer.
