Ship Point


Ship Point (48˚25'27" 123˚22'16" E side of Inner Hbr, Victoria Hbr, Victoria). This very old name in the heart of Victoria, a few metres away from the original location of Ft Victoria, appears on early charts of the harbour but seems to have largely disappeared by the 1870s, when wharves began to proliferate in the vicinity.
