Sea Pigeon Island


Sea Pigeon Island (52˚17'00" 131˚17'00" Entrance to Huston Inlet, S side of Skincuttle Inlet, off SE side of Moresby I, QCI). Geologist George M Dawson named this feature in 1878 after the pigeon guillemot (Cepphus columba), a small black and white seabird that is abundant in the QCI.
