Sargison Bank


Sargison Bank (48˚55'00" 125˚26'00" S of Forbes I, W side of Barkley Sd, W side of Vancouver I). According to Barkley Sd historian R Bruce Scott, A G Sargison pre-empted land on the N side of Barkley Sd in 1893. Government records, however, show that A G Sargison received a Crown grant for land in the Metchosin district in 1883.
