Sarah Point


Sarah Point (50˚04'00" 124˚50'00" NW tip of Malaspina Peninsula, NE end of Str of Georgia). Named in June 1792 by Capt George Vancouver after his sister Sarah (b 1752). He also named Mary Point (qv), at the SE tip of Cortes I, at the same time after another sister. The two points bracket the entrance to Desolation Sd.
