Salisbury Cone


Salisbury Cone (52˚09'00" 127˚50'00" NE of Salisbury Point, King I), Salisbury Point (52˚07'00" 127˚51'00" W side of King I, N side of Evans Inlet, E of Bella Bella). Named in association with Rev John Fisher, a “much respected friend” of Capt George Vancouver (see Fisher Channel). Fisher was appointed bishop of Exeter, 1803–7, and bishop of Salisbury, 1807–25.
