Quisitis Point

Quisitis Point (48˚59'00" 125˚40'00" SE of Wickaninnish Bay, NW of Barkley Sd, W side of Vancouver I). The hydrographic service named this point in 1934 after the nearby Ucluelet First Nation reserve of Quisitis or Kwisitis. The word can be translated from the Nuu-chah-nulth language as “other side of the beach.”
