Queens Reach

Queens Reach (50˚10'00" 123˚53'00" N end of Jervis Inlet, NE of Powell R, NW of Vancouver). RN hydrographer Capt George Richards named this feature about 1860 after Queen Victoria (1819–1901), who succeeded to the British throne in 1837. Many other geographical sites around the inlet were named by Richards after other members of the queen’s family.
