Perpendicular Bluff


Perpendicular Bluff (49˚46'00" 126˚27'15" NE side of Tlupana Inlet, Nootka Sd, W side of Vancouver I). In 1934, regional hydrographer Henri Parizeau wished to rename this feature Martinez Bluff, after Spanish naval officer Estéban Martínez, who commanded the Spanish outpost in Nootka Sd in 1789.
