Paul Island


Paul Island (49˚30'00" 124˚13'00" NE of Lasqueti I, Sabine Channel, Str of Georgia). Paul Louis Lambert (1876–1945), from France, came to Lasqueti I after WWI and acquired Crown grants to nearby Jervis I (qv) in 1922 and 1924. He had hoped to build a sanatorium for sick children on his property, but ended up establishing the Jervis I Goat Ranch instead, where he raised and bred goats and produced goat milk and cheese.
