Parker Bay


Parker Bay (48˚21'00" 123˚32'00" SW end of Parry Bay, SW of Metchosin, near S tip of Vancouver I). This feature is presumably named after John and Mary Parker, pioneer settlers in the district. John (1827–1917), from Kent, England, a farrier and blacksmith, married Mary Ann Munn (1832–1900) about 1852.
