Park Island

Park Island (52˚26'00" 131˚24'00" W of Huxley I, off SE Moresby I, QCI). C H Park owned numerous mining claims at Jedway, just to the S, during the copper-mining boom of 1906–9. The Eagle Tree property on Harriet Hbr was a special interest of his, and in 1908 he bought the Surprise claim in Huston Inlet. Named in 1962 by the hydrographic service. D
