Owl Island


Owl Island (48˚49'35" 123˚23'55" Off W end of Prevost I, Gulf Is). This locally established name, descriptive of the shape of the island, was submitted by James Stuart, harbourmaster at Ganges, in 1988, at the time of the Canadian Hydrographic Service’s revisory survey of the Gulf Is. The name was adopted later that year.
