Oland Islet


Oland Islet (52˚13'00" 128˚10'00" Off N side of Campbell I, Seaforth Channel, just N of Bella Bella). John Eric Wodehouse Oland, DSC (1895–1948), from NS, entered Royal Naval College at Halifax in 1911 as a cadet and was promoted to lt in 1917. He married Denise Victoria Harris, a granddaughter of Sir James Douglas, in 1919 at Victoria (see Denise Inlet).
