Northness Point


Northness Point (53˚46'00" 129˚54'00" E side of Grenville Channel, between Baker Inlet and Kxngeal Inlet, SE of Prince Rupert). Named after the Shetland Is home of Capt N W Thompson of the CPR’s BC Coast Steamship Service. He first joined the service in 1912 and worked mainly aboard the Tees along the W coast of Vancouver I.
