Norgar Islet


Norgar Islet (50˚30'00" 127˚39'00" S of Drake I, Buchholz Channel, Quatsino Sd, NW end of Vancouver I). Thomas (or Thor) Gunderson Norgar (1861–1920), from Norway, joined the Scandinavian colony at Quatsino in 1895. He brought a stock of goods with him and opened the community’s first general store.
