Nicholson Island


Nicholson Island (52˚19'00" 127˚56'00" NE of Cunningham I, entrance to Roscoe Inlet, NE of Bella Bella). Named in 1925 for Capt Charles H Nicholson (d 1959), who was appointed gen superintendent of GTP shipping operations in 1910. He continued to manage GTP’s steamships on the BC coast after they came under the control of the CNR.
