Naden Islets


Naden Islets (54˚23'00" 130˚16'00" W side of Tuck Inlet, S of Tuck Narrows, just N of Prince Rupert). George Ratcliffe Naden (1865–1953) was born at Derby, England, and moved to Ont in 1883. There he married Margaret Hogarth Dunn (1867–1920) of Owen Sd. The Nadens came to BC in 1891. They lived first at Greenwood, where George was an alderman, 1899–1901, mayor, 1901–6, and president of the board of trade, 1902–4.
