Nab Patch


Nab Patch (51˚18'00" 127˚37'00" N entrance to Takush Hbr, Smith Sd, N of Port Hardy). Named after Birkby Nab in Yorkshire, hereditary homestead of the Greaves family, who were ancestors of Anne Walbran, wife of BC mariner and author Capt John Walbran. Walbran named nearby Birkby Point after this farm in 1903.
