Mission Point

Mission Point (54˚20'00" 130˚26'00" N side of Venn Passage, Metlakatla Bay, just W of Prince Rupert), Mission Mountain (54˚22'17" 130˚22'42" NE of Metlakatla). These features are presumably named after the famous Anglican mission at Metlakatla (qv), where William Duncan established a “model Christian village” in 1862. See Duncan I for more information.
