Miracle Beach


Miracle Beach (49˚51'00" 125˚06'00" N of Courtenay, S of the mouth of the Oyster R, E side of Vancouver I). According to a local First Nation myth, a supernatural spirit appeared to inhabitants of this area in the guise of a starving stranger.
