Milbanke Sound


Milbanke Sound (52˚19'00" 128˚33'00" Between Price I and Athlone I, W of Bella Bella.) Named in 1788 by pioneer fur trader and mariner Charles Duncan, who was on the BC coast that year as master of the Princess Royal, part of an expedition sent to the PNW from London in 1786 by Richard Etches and the King George’s Sd Co, under the command of James Colnett.
