Metcalf Islands


Metcalf Islands (50˚17'00" 125˚22'00" W end of Okisollo Channel, between Quadra I and Sonora I, NW of Campbell R). Lance Cpl William Henry Metcalf, VC, MM (1894–1968), was born in Maine but fought in WWI as a member of the 16th (Canadian Scottish) Battalion of the Canadian Expeditionary Force.
